Hi, glad you found the posts useful.

It looks like you left the comment in the wrong blog posting. It should probably be at http://shaneosullivan.wordpress.com/2007/02/16/installing-ubuntu-edgy-on-a-thinkpad-x41-tablet

Anyway, as yet I haven't upgraded to Feisty, though I probably will soon through Ubuntu's upgrade mechanism. When I do, I'll report any issues I had, and solutions I found.

Hi,

I'm a linux newbie, but I was able to follow your excellent guide on setting up edgy on the X41 Tablet PC. I was wondering if you have upgraded to fiesty, and if so, what your experience was. I"m thinking about doing a clean install, but would really like some confirmation that it doesn't break everything.

Thanks so much for your help!

I'm not sure why this comment appears on the "About" posting, perhaps you meant to put it on the posting here - http://shaneosullivan.wordpress.com/2007/01/03/setting-the-working-directory-for-an-ant-java-task ?

Ant is a fabulous piece of software, though it may not be obvious at first. It's well worth investigating, and eventually the penny will drop.

See for example, http://daveshields.wordpress.com/2006/12/25/sixth-sakai-conference-trip-report/ in a brief comment about 2/3 of the way through the piece.
